The Story so far...

I fell in love with Cyprus a few years ago when I came out to sing, leaving the grey skies of the UK behind! I ended up working for my now husband and after a fantastic year in the sunshine brought him back home to settle and buy a house. But after setting up our home and a couple of companies, itchy feet set in and we decided to come back out here and made the move in early 2006.

We had already booked the initial parts of our wedding for September of that year, but ended up changing our mind about a few things (as women do!!!!). It all kind of fell into place because my mum was a wedding representative for a tour operator, so she helped with all of the legal aspects and booking of the ceremony venues. All the added extras I just did as we went along, it was all quite relaxed really which is unusual for me as I have to have everything so organised in my life normally, must be the 'laid-back-ness' of being out here!

There were a few dramas along the way, we try to help out the local animal sanctuary as there is no RSPCA here, and so we did a sponsored men's leg wax in July. The day after, my husband-to-be was playing in a football match, again for a local charity and a player decided to land on him with both feet and managed to break his ankle, unbeknown to my husband who tried to continue to play! You can imagine the doctor's faces when they plastered one of his lovely silky smooth fuzz free pins!

So with only weeks to go I had a fiance on crutches in the scorching sunshine and just hoped with his lack of mobility, that he would still fit into suit come the big day!

He couldn't take advantage of all of the stag activities he wanted to and only got the plaster off with a few days to spare but thankfully he was walking ok come the wedding day.

We had the most perfect time, with fantastic weather, surrounded by some great family and friends and couldn't have asked for anything more.

So, a few months passed and the idea for Cyprus Wedding Pages was born. The initial idea was for a professional magazine, something which we hope to produce later in the year to bring to the wedding fayres. My mum had great compliments as a planner already, and knew that she wanted to give more personal time to her couples, something which the larger companies don't really offer with just how many weddings they hold per day. We also wanted to give a bride and groom as much choice as possible, and for them to know that there is something there to suit all tastes and budgets.

So we set up the company and hope that we can be the one to help your big day run as smoothly as mine. With a professional yet personal approach, our family run business is the only thing you need for your perfect wedding in the sun.
